Whats in my pack?
Ultra-light backpacking is the perfect way to enjoy the backcountry without the grind. This pack list let's me move hundreds of miles in the Californian country over three seasons.

Backpack: 2.0 lbs
Start with the Hyperlite Mountain Gear SOUTHWEST 55 Backpack. This lightweight and durable backpack is made from Dyneema Composite Fabric. Switching to this pack was a game changer. *Note: if you are a hot sweaty mess, it can get a bit hot in the back.
Sleep System (Bag, Pad, Shelter): 2.0 lb
Outdoor Research Helium Bivy - not everyone is into Bivy bags, but for 8oz, I love them. So great for solo camping. Keep the bugs out, without needing a full blown tent or a trekking pole.
Sea to Summit Spark Ultralight Down Sleeping Bag It's 850 fill, 40 degree temperature range and weighs just 12 ounces.
Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Xlite NXT superlight, and a great fit in the bivy for 13oz.
4. Cooking Gear: 26 oz
Choose the BRS Outdoor Ultralight Camping Stove, a compact and efficient canister stove. Seriously small and light at .9 oz . Packs a punch
Pair it with the ROCREEK Titanium 750ml Pot with Lid, a lightweight cooking vessel that doubles as a cup. 25 oz
